Lake Junaluska Sing to the Mountains II

Choctaw Children's Choir singing at Lake Junaluska, South Carolina "Sing to the Mountains II" Native American Summer Conference 2015Keepers of the Word had a great week-end at Lake Junaluska for Sing to the Mountains II! It was terrific to meet up with the Choctaw Children’s Choir, Melba Checote Eads from Tenn., Kelly and Troy Adkins and their fabulous dance team, Sacred Thunder Drum and the Florida crew. The presenters were great and the music even greater. Of course, Jonathan Maracle and Broken walls were their usual awesome selves! South Carolina was well represented with Daniel Garvin and wife, Liz Ocain, Rochelle, Marcy, Harold and crew. Then we had Keepers of the Word and some of the Native American Committee from the SC UMC! We also had dancers from Hawaii, a band from New York, Natives from Alaska, Canada, Washington state and much more. We prayed and played so hard, we had to come home to rest up!!
